How It Works for Dealers

One dealer's chargeback is usually another dealer's next order. This is how you warn each other, fairly.

1

Tell Your Customers, Then Enroll

Add a short notice to your privacy policy and terms using our sample wording, then enroll from your dealer portal.

2

Look a Buyer Up

Enter the email or phone number from a new order. See the stars, the fraud flags and which dealers posted them.

3

Share Your Experience

Rate a transaction from 1 to 5 stars, or file a payment fraud report with evidence. A person checks it against the content rules first.

Frequently Asked Questions

No. Reviews and fraud reports are never published on the internet and never appear in search engines. Only verified, enrolled FFL dealers can see them, and only by looking up an email address or phone number a customer has already given them.
Only a licensed dealer with a verified 2AData dealer account who has enrolled in the program. Enrollment requires the dealer to tell its own customers, in its privacy policy and terms, that it takes part.
Only its own first-hand experience in a real transaction: a 1 to 5 star rating and a factual description, or a documented payment fraud report with evidence. Every submission is reviewed by a person before any other dealer can see it.
What you bought, background check results, anything from a Form 4473, health or protected-class remarks, home address, date of birth, ID or card numbers, second-hand information, or accusations of any crime other than documented payment fraud.
Use the Request My File page. Enter your email address and we will send you a private link. You can read everything on file, add your own response, and dispute anything you believe is wrong.
The dealer has 30 days to back up what it wrote. If it does not respond, the review is removed. If it does, a 2AData reviewer decides, and you are told the outcome by email.
No. The decision to complete a sale always belongs to the individual dealer. A dealer who turns you away because of something in the program is required to tell you so and point you to your file.
Reviews stop appearing three years after the transaction. Documented fraud reports stop appearing after seven years.
