9. Customer Reviews Program

2AData operates Customer Reviews, a private network in which licensed firearms dealers share their own first-hand experience with their own customers. This section applies to the people those reviews are about.

• What we receive from a participating dealer: a customer's name, email address, phone number, city and state, the date and type of a transaction, a 1 to 5 star rating or a payment fraud category, the dealer's written description, and, for fraud reports, supporting documents.
• What we do not accept: what a person bought, background check results, anything from a firearms transaction record, health information, protected characteristics, home addresses, dates of birth, or government or payment card numbers.
• Who can see it: our moderator, the dealer who submitted it, other verified dealers enrolled in the program who look up an email address or phone number a customer has given them, and the person it is about. It is never published on a public page or made available to search engines. Supporting documents are seen only by our moderator.
• Moderation: a person reviews every submission before it becomes visible. We do not edit submissions. The dealer, not 2AData, is the author of what it submits.
• Your rights: you can request your file at 2adata.com/customer-reviews/request-my-file, add your own response, and dispute anything you believe is wrong. Disputes are decided within 30 days, and a submission the dealer does not substantiate is removed.
• Retention: reviews stop being shown three years after the transaction and fraud reports after seven years. Lookup logs are kept for two years.
• No sale, no marketing: we do not sell this information and do not use it for advertising.

10. Changes to Privacy Policy

We may update this privacy policy as our services evolve. Material changes will be communicated to clients via email or website notification.
